Senior Operations Research Analyst

Paypoint HR, an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) to support the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) at Fort Lee, VA. Qualified candidates must have an active DOD Secret clearance.

The ORSA is responsible for assisting in the development, writing, experimentation, assessment, integration, staffing, and documentation of sustainment concept and vision. CASCOM is responsible for providing the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with the capabilities development products for the sustainment of the future warfighter. CASCOM serves as the user representative in the development of operational concepts, doctrine, organizational requirements, material requirements, and vision.

The ORSA will:

  • Assist in developing, writing, experimenting, assessing, integrating, staffing, and documenting sustainment visions, concepts and CBAs into appropriate JCIDS products.
  • Support the development of JCIDS products.
  • Participate in and support experimentation, simulations, and analyses supporting the development of future Army forces.
  • Support Integrated Capabilities Development Teams necessary for successful completion and delivery of JCIDS products and documents.
  • Support the program by providing research, modeling, technical analysis, and technical writing support.
  • Support the modification and integration of organizational, force structure requirements, tactical wheeled vehicle and planning data requirements, and integrating current and future force structures.
  • Assist in developing, assessing, analyzing, documenting, modifying, integrating, and staffing materiel requirements.
  • Assist in developing, assessing, analyzing, documenting, modifying, integrating, and staffing DOTMLPF related operational energy requirements.

Required Experience

  • Active DOD secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in operational research (Completion of a formal operations research or systems analysis program will be accepted in lieu of a degree)
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Working knowledge of concept development and the materiel development process
  • At least 5 years of experience with data collection and analysis planning, test issue resolution, post-test data analysis, and report preparation and production
  • Prior experience developing data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure that all test data collected is of sufficient quality, quantity, and relevancy to test objectives
  • Knowledge of US Army operational and tactical doctrine
  • Ability to analyze operational test activities and utilize advanced knowledge of mathematics, statistical, and engineering methods in determining solutions to complex problems.

 

Senior Logistics Planner

The Senior Logistics Planner is responsible for acting as a senior level advisor to CASCOM on all logistics matters as they pertain to the development of capabilities and the sustainment of the warfighter. CASCOM is responsible for providing the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with the capabilities development products for the sustainment of the future warfighter. CASCOM serves as the user representative in the development of operational concepts, doctrine, organizational requirements, material requirements, and vision.

The Senior Logistics Planner will:

Support the modification and integration of organizational, force structure requirements, tactical wheeled vehicle and planning data requirements, and integrating current and future force structures.
Create the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Reliability, and Maintainability (RAM) portions of test plans, evaluation of ILS and RAM characteristics of systems.
Oversee the development and implementation of performance based logistics (PBNL) strategies that optimize total system availability while minimizing cost and logistics footprint.
Assess public and private sector capabilities through government-industry partnership initiatives to determine best in class solutions for logistics challenges facing the current and future warfighter.
Write a Logistics Management Information Plan (LMIP) to establish and execute the Logistics Management Information program.
Support the development of JCIDS products.
Required Experience:

Active DOD Secret clearance
Master’s degree in logistics
At least 27 years of experience in sustainment systems and logistics
Prior active duty experience having retired at the rank of O-6 or greater
Proven experience as a senior logistics planner with the ability to anticipate and understand second and third order effects
Working knowledge of the JCIDS process.

Program Analyst

The Program Analyst will:

  • Interpret data, analyzing results using statistical techniques in the areas of operational architecture, operational energy, organizational support, and material requirements support.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to gather and integrate data from disparate sources.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Required Experience:

  • Active DOD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline such as engineering, hard science, information technology, or math; degree may be substituted for 4 years’ experience in data analysis, reduction, and mathematical techniques
  • At least 2 years of work experience

The Junior Logistician will:
